And mankind takes another step back…

Terry Shiavo died just a little while ago.

Thanks to America’s continuing de-valuation of human life, we continue our slide…

I have to agree. I was so appalled at how little we valued her life. What is really upsetting, is that her so called “husband” as the one to push for her death. He was no longer her husband. He had moved on with his life, gotten another “wife” and had children with her. And the people who REALLY mattered in her life, had no say in how she lived or died. Also, since Michael Shiavo was so intent on having her killed (because that is what it was-murder, plain and simple-if he’d done this to his dog, he’d be in jail right now), I want to know what he was trying so hard to hide. He would no allow any tests-no MRI, CAT scans, X-rays, etc. He would not allow therapy for Terri and it has been shown in other cases similar to her that the brain damaged CAN recover. To what degree is up to God. Also, if this had been Christopher Reeve, you bet your last buck this would NOT have been allowed to happen. God forgive us for cheapening life so much. I fear for our nation…We are worse than the animals. An we call ourselves a “Christian” nation. I beg to differ…….
