bummer. i thought you were going to share some “reformed” torte recipes (chocolate-hazelnut torte, anyone??) and then expound on how such a confection could bring peace, love, and happiness to the health care arena and to the world as we know it. what a letdown. (but don’t fret…i can cheer myself up with the fact that it’s only 11 more days till “pi” day!!

Wow Todd,
Kudos to you… Told it like it is…. to quote the infamous Gomer Pyle… “Shame, Shame, Shame…” Now to try to convince the ignorant Joe Public that he/she voted for politicians that ignore the constituents that they were elected to serve….and to try to get them to vote them out… Oh well maybe it won’t matter by the next election. I am waiting to see if these bozos will vote for a regulation that will allow them to remain in power without the opportunity for us to vote them out…. It could happen….

if they were really thinking, they wouldn’t need the bumper sticker to announce it… one or two really “good” bumper stickers could actually speak for themselves… not the crud you described above…. like you said, that was the proof that they were not actually thinking (or thinking well) at all…

The difference probably boils down to 4 things.

1. One group, when owning a car, wants to take care of it and not gum it up with a bunch stupid stickers.

2. One group wishes to maintain a classier, more minimalist image and so doesn’t junk up their car with stickers.

3. One group eschews bumpersticker philosophy for something a little more meaty. (I said meaty… sorry, did I offend any vegetarians? So what. I don’t care.)

4. One group, when seeing the other groups bumper stickers rolls their eyes and shakes their head and chuckles. The other group, when seeing the first group’s rare bumper stickers is likely to key that person’s car.
